DescriptionJ. and M. McGrath arrived in about 1885 and took over one of Alexander Forrest's shepherding runs. They bought Peake Station [now Wyloo] on the Ashburton River near Onslow in 1888. The homestead was constructed near the Metawandy Creek. The property was still in family hands in 1920s, under the ownership of their son, Michael McGrath who also operated Koordarrie and Mount Amy stations. The company was would up in the early 1920s and Peake Station was sold to Elder, Smith & Co.
