Biographical informationAh Cheong (10) was born on 17th January 1876 in Canton, China. He arrived in Western Australia in about 1897 (uncertain date provided in 1939). He was married and his wife remained in China. His wife's name was Wong Ng (born Canton 1878). He was five feet and seven inches in height.

He travelled overseas from January 1907 until November 1907. In 1939 he was working as a market gardener and living in Jubilee Street, South Perth. It was noted in 1939 that he could not speak English.
