Corporate historyLee Fay (2) was a cabinet-maker who worked for other businesses before commencing his own. He also operated a partnership with Lee Yin around 1908 before it failed and Lee Fay filed for bankruptcy in 1909.

Lee Fay had a reputation as a skilled and efficient worker.

Lee Fay operated from at least four different premises between 1907 and 1909: 432 Murray Street, 329 Wellington Street, 110 Roe Street and 40 Beaufort Street. He may have operated from premises in Mary Street around 1911. By 1918 he was operating his factory from 45 or 47 Marquis Street. His business may have been named "Ah Moy".
