Biographical informationYoung Way was born in April 1866 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in September 1893. He was the husband of Annie Elizabeth Young Way.
He worked as a market gardener in Middleton Road, Albany, in 1916. In 1918 he moved to Katanning then to Narrogin. He worked at the Freemasons Hotel, Geraldton, for two months in 1920 before finding employment on Kirkalocka Station, Mount Magnet.
