Biographical informationYing Wah was born in about 1856. He was five feet seven inches in height. He was the father of Ah Kwong (3).
In the 1890s he had a company called Ying Wah & Co. that operated a large market garden (31 acres) along the Avon River near Northam. By the early 1900s he had passed on the farm to four brothers in the Wong family. It is not known if he kept a stake in the farm.
