Biographical informationYing Que was born in June 1885 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1900. He was five feet seven and a quarter inches in height.
He was recorded as a partner in the Hop War Laundry, 63 Point Street, Fremantle, in 1910. He worked as a laundryman at the Hee Kee Laundry, South Terrace, Fremantle, in 1916. He returned to the Hop War Laundry in 1918.
He then left Western Australia and visited Adelaide in 1918 and Melbourne in 1919. He returned to Perth in 1920 and worked for a few months in the Hee Kee Laundry, Fremantle before travelling overseas again.
He travelled overseas twice: October 1910 to September 1911; and August 1920 to May 1921.
