Biographical informationYick Chew (aka Lee Chew & Yick Sue) was born in March 1865 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893. He was five feet six inches in height.

He worked as a laundryman at the Goon Foo Laundry, 550 Beaufort Street, Perth, in 1916. He moved to the Ying Cheong Laundry at 70 Melbourne Street, Perth, in 1921 (B).
