Biographical informationYick Boo was born in about 1881 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1900. He was five feet nine and a half inches in height "in his boots".

He worked as market gardener at Albany. He had a serious wound to his lower jaw, possibly a gun shot wound.
