Biographical informationYee Donson was born in about 1881 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1895 or 1900. He was five feet five and three quarter inches in height. He may have been the husband of Choy Sing (their 1916 CEDTs are consecutive #1916/129 and #1916/130).
He was recorded as a tailor at Roebourne in 1907 and 1917. He had a partnership with Yee Lock Quan Sing in Carnarvon from c.1919 to March 1925 (Northern Times, 27 March 1925, p. 2.). He was recorded as a shop keeper at Carnarvon in 1932 (E).
