Biographical informationYee Ah Ching was born in August 1881 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in July 1897. He was five feet two and a half inches in height.

He worked as a store keeper in Napier Terrace, Broome, from at least 1906 to 1940 (E).

He travelled overseas five times: February 1906 to September 1907; January to June 1912; May 1914 to May 1916; January 1922 to August 1924 and March 1928; to August 1929.
