Biographical informationWong Tong was born in March 1868, in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1892 or 1894. He was five feet seven inches in height.

He worked as a shop assistant with an interest in a market garden at Perth in 1902 (A). He was recorded as a market gardener at Bibra Lake in 1916 (B). In 1928 he worked as a laundryman at Perth (E).
