Biographical informationWong Quong (2) (黃坤) was born in December 1879 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1898. He was five feet nine inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Burswood in 1913. He was recorded as working in Suburban Road, South Perth, in 1916. He moved to Osborne Park in 1918.
In October 1918 he was charged with stealing (B).
He travelled overseas twice: February 1914 to April 1915; and February 1921 to April 1922.
This is probably the Wong Quong who died on 11th April 1927 at the hospital for the insane in Claremont and whose last place of residence was as a market gardener at Bibra Lake.
