Biographical informationWong Chong (4) was born in September 1872 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in January 1896. He was five feet six and a half inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener in Fitzgerald Street, Perth, in 1916 (B). He worked on Yee Ying's market garden, Bayswater, in 1919 and in South Perth in 1926 (E).
He travelled overseas three times: July 1905 to August 1910, May 1915 to November 1915 and October 1926 to July 1928. He applied for a CEDT in 1922 but did not use it.
