Biographical informationWong Chew (1) (aka Wong Chue) was born in about 1880 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1900. He was five feet two and a half inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Osborne Park in 1909. He worked on Ah Sam's market garden, Beechboro Road, Bayswater, from at least 1911 to 1921.
He travelled overseas four times: September 1909 to March 1911; June 1913 to March 1914; April to December 1921; and July 1929 to June 1930.
