Biographical informationWon Fong was born in about 1866 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1891. He was five feet eight and a quarter inches in height.

He worked as a cabinet maker in Sam Hop's Furniture Factory, Roe Street, Perth, in 1917. He moved to the J. W. Wing factory in Newcastle Street, Perth, in 1920 (B).

He travelled overseas three times: December 1908 to May 1910; September 1915 to October 1917; and October 1930 to December 1932 (D).
