Biographical informationSoo Hoo Pat was born in about 1871 in Hong Kong. He migrated to Western Australia in 1887. He was five feet four inches in height.

He worked as a shop keeper at Broome from at least 1907.

He travelled overseas twice: April 1907 to June 1908; and January 1920 to June 1922. He applied for a CEDT in 1910 but did not use it.

He returned to China permanently in January 1926 and he died in China c.1935.
