SONE Peter

Description

Biographical informationSone Peter was born in about 1887 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1900X. He was about five feet six inches in height.

He worked as a clerk for the See Wah Furniture Factory, Dyer Street, West Perth, in 1907. In 1915 he was registered as a merchant employed by Wing Hing & Co., James Street, Perth (E).

He travelled overseas twice: November 1907 to January 1912 after seeking an extension to the usual three year certificate period (this paperwork is in a file relating to Peter Wong Chew and the sequential numbering suggests they applied for their certificates at the same time).
