Biographical informationSing Dick (2) (aka Choong Sing Dick) was born in June 1864 [War Reg. states 1866] in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1884. He was five feet two and three quarter inches in height.
He worked as an agent at Perth in 1909 (E). In 1916 he was a market gardener in Britannia Road, Leederville, before he worked as a shop keeper for Cheong & Co, 436 Hay Street, Perth, in 1917.
He was fined 20 shillings in June 1918 and 25 shillings in November 1918 for 'Being Found in a Gaming House'. In June 1918 he was fined £5 for 'Assisting in a Gaming House' (B).
