SHONG LEE

Biographical informationShong Lee was born on 27th November 1877. He migrated to New South Wales in 1898, spend 6 or 7 months there and then moved to Western Australia also in 1898. He was about five feet and four and a half inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener in Osborne Park from 1898 to 1900; then in West Perth from 1901 to 1902; in Mount Lawley from 1903-1905; in Bayswater from 1906 to 1916; and Charles Street, North Perth from 1917 to at least 1927 (E). He gave his residential address in 1921 as 124 James Street, Perth and in 1927 as 255 Charles Street, North Perth.
