Biographical informationSay Wah was born in January 1872 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896. He was five feet eight and three quarter inches in height.

He worked as a cabinet maker for See Wah & Co., Dyer Street, West Perth, in 1912 (E). He worked at the Hing Ping Furniture Factory, 173 Newcastle Street, Perth, in 1916. He moved to W. Singe in Roe Street, Perth, in 1918 (B).
