Biographical informationSan Juan Okame was born in about 1872 in Nagasaki, Japan. She migrated to Western Australia in 1891. She was around five feet three and half inches in height.

She was the wife of San Juan and mother of Helen, born 1908.

She lived at Broome from at least 1903 (E).

She travelled overseas in 1903; November 1911 to March 1914; March 1918 to August 1919; January to May 1920; July to December 1920; and February to July 1921 (D). She applied for a CEDT in 1922 but did not use it.
