Biographical informationNephew of Fong Lang. Employed by Fong Lang at Geraldton from at least 1893 when he applied for naturalisation which was refused (C). He was a member of the Methodist Church in Geraldton.
In 1912 he was advised that having been born in Hong Kong he was regarded as a naturalised British subject. At this time his wife and three children, two boys and a girl, were living in China.
Moved to Carnarvon St. Broome, in 1919 (B). Travelled overseas from 1913 to October 1917. In 1928 he was a partner in Wing Lee & Co and James Wong & Co. He described himself as a pearl dealer with business interests in the USA.
