Biographical informationQuock Chong was born in September 1874 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1895. He was about five feet eight inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Roebourne from at least 1912 to 1921. In June 1918 he was charged with 'False Pretences' at Roebourne but the case was dismissed (B).
He travelled overseas five times: December 1905 to January 1907; February 1912 to December 1913; March 1916 to June 1917; March 1923 to July 1924; and January 1929 to April 1930 (D).
