Biographical informationPoy Way was born in April 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1898. He was five feet ten and a quarter inches in height.
He was working as a market gardener in 125 Charles Street, North Perth, in 1912 (E). Later he worked on a market garden in Albert Street, North Perth, in 1916. He moved to a market garden in Osborne Park and then to J. Loong's market garden, Bunbury, in May 1918.
He was fined £18 in April 1918 for 'Smoking Opium' (B).
