Biographical informationOwen James was born in about 1885 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1900. He was five feet six inches in height.
He worked as a laundryman in Perth in 1908 (E). He was recorded as a greengrocer operating a shop and living at 8 South Terrace, Fremantle, in 1916 and 1919 (B). He was a member of the Chung Wah Association Committee in 1922.
