Biographical informationMing Jung Ham was born in November 1871 in Hainan, China. He migrated to Western Australia in October 1892. He was five feet four and a half inches in height.

He worked as a steward at the Weld Club, Barrack Street, Perth, from at least 1907 to 1921.
