Biographical informationLung Cheong was born in about 1877 in Canton China.

In 1898 he was running a laundry from a shop which he rented at 213 Beaufort Street, Perth from M. F. Cavanagh. In 1900 he was the proprietor of a laundry at 168 Beaufort Street, Perth.
