Biographical informationLouey Say was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was five feet eight inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener in Fitzgerald Street, Perth. In 1910 he was charged with having shot Clarence Barrett, a boy who was in his market garden stealing oranges. The boy was not seriously injured. Louey say was remanded in custody for eight days (Black Range Courier And Sandstone Observer, 13 May 1910, pg 2).
