Biographical informationLim A Tek (1) was born in about 1853 in Chin Pho (Hokkien), China. He migrated to Western Australia in May 1890.
He was recruited in Singapore to work as a general station hand under contract to W. D. Moore & Co., Derby, for three years at S$8 per month.
