Biographical informationLim A Lok (aka Lim Ah Lock) (林亞樂) was born in about 1852 in Sun Wi (Cantonese), China (新會縣). He migrated to Western Australia in June 1887.
He was recruited in Singapore to work as a market gardener under contract to C. Conway for two years at S$8 per month.
