Biographical informationLeong Set (aka Quan Leong Set) was born in October 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in February 1900. He was five feet seven inches in height.

He worked as a fruit shop assistant for Ah Sam and Co., 112 Barrack Street, Perth, in 1916. During 1918, Leong Set worked in Melbourne and Sydney. He returned to Western Australia in November 1918 (B). In 1925 he held the title to a market garden at Canning Location 2, Lot 30.
