Biographical informationLee You (2) was born in October 1869 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1893 or 1896. He was between five feet four and four feet five inches in height. His wife and son remained in China.

In 1904, Lee You leased a market garden at Perth (A). In 1916 he was recorded as residing in Havelock Street, West Perth (B). He was listed as a baker’s assistant at Broome in 1937 (D).

Lee You travelled overseas seven times: February 1904 to October 1905; January 1908 to May 1910; July 1913 to June 1916; April 1918 to January 1921; January 1924 to January 1927; May 1933 to October 1934; and June 1937 to January 1938.
