Lee Yacke was born in about 1865 in Heng Cheow, Canton, China.
He worked as a market gardener. Said to be a "great friend of Mr Roe's Chinese gardener living in Fitzgerald Street, West Perth".
He travelled overseas between October 1900 and February 1902 (A).
