Biographical informationLee Wing (2) was born on the 12th November 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Victoria, Australia in 1899 and moved to Western Australia in 1900. He was just under five feet eight inches in height.
He worked as a market gardener at Belmont from 1900 to 1906 then spent two years from 1907 to 1908 in China (travelling under the name of Lee Ping). He returned in 1909 and worked on a market garden at Kalamunda Road, Belmont until at least 1921.
Lee Wing was fined 30 shillings for 'Being Found in a Gaming House' in Perth in August 1918 (B).
In 1921 he was residing at Redcliffe near Guildford and working as a market gardener.
He travelled overseas in December 1907 and returned in April 1909 (D). He applied for further CEDTs in 1909 and 1916 but did not use them.
