Biographical informationLee Way was born in 1868 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1892. His wife remained in China.
When he first arrived in Perth he worked on a market garden in Loton's Park, on ground that later became the Perth Oval. In the early 1900s he moved to Northam.
He worked as a market gardener living in Newcastle Road, Northam, in 1916 (B). He applied for a CEDT in 1916 but did not use it. He continued to work as a market gardener in Northam into the 1940s.
