Biographical informationLee Shing (1) (李興) was born in July 1859 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1889.

He was working as a market gardener at Perth when he applied for a CEDT in May 1896 (C). He worked in the Sam Lung Laundry, 355 Wellington Street, Perth, in 1916. He moved to Sing Kee's Laundry, 97 South Terrace, Fremantle, in 1918.
