Biographical informationLee Hing (1) was born in June 1866 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1899. He was five feet six inches in height.
He applied for a certificate to return to the colony in 1900. At this time he was working as a gardener. He travelled overseas per SS Karrakatta in February 1900. He was granted an extension and returned per SS Sultan in September 1901.
He worked as a dealer and travelling salesman for the firm Kwong Hong Shing at 382 Murray Street, Perth, from at least 1911 to 1919 when he moved to 131 James Street, Perth (B).
