Biographical informationLee Doong (aka Lee Dung) was born in September 1871 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in July 1896. He was four feet ten and three quarter inches in height.
He lived in Perth from 1896 until he moved to Geraldton in 1905.
At Geraldton he worked as a laundryman at the Hop Lee Laundry in Marine Terrace, and then as a store keeper in Fitzgerald Street.
Lee Doong was fined £2 in October 1917, £3 in August 1918 and £4 in February 1919 for 'Being Found in a Gaming House' in Geraldton.
