Biographical informationKleong Hugh was born in about 1878 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1901. He was five feet one and a quarter inches in height.
He worked as a laundryman at Beverley in 1915 (E). In 1918 he worked in the Ying Lee Laundry, 947 Hay Street, Perth, before working on a market garden in Beaufort Street, Perth. He moved to Avon Terrace, York, in 1921.
Kleong was fined two shillings in July 1918 for 'Breaching Perth By-laws' (B).
