Biographical informationKing Ngee was born in July 1849 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in July 1879.
He worked as a herbalist at the Bow On Hong herbalist store, 129 James Street, Perth, in 1916 (B). He was the President of the Chung Wah Association from 1918 to 1921.
The National Archives of Australia holds a file of him (PP14/3, CHINESE/NGEE K) that includes his Application Form for Registration as Alien.
