Biographical informationKing Fong was born in about 1875 in Canton, China, son of Fong Nan King. He migrated to Western Australia in 1894.
He was working as the chief cook at the Western Australian Club, St Georges Terrace, Perth, in 1916. In the same year he moved to the Weld Club, Barrack Street, Perth. In 1920, he moved to Geraldton and worked at the Freemasons' Hotel (B).
He travelled overseas between May 1906 and July 1907 (D).
