Leased a shop at 77 James St, Perth, in 1899 when he applied for a CEDT.

Owned land in 1903.

Was recorded as a commission agent in 1910 and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Travelled overseas twice: July 1903 to December 1904 and June 1910 to October 1911.
