Biographical informationGee See Shing was born in August 1871 in Canton, or Hong Kong, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1892.

He worked as a greengrocer and draper living at 373 King Street, Perth, with Lung See Shing.

He applied for naturalisation in June 1898 but this was refused.
