Biographical informationDan Tien Sing (陳夫成) was born in April 1864 in Lok Ui (Hailam), China. He migrated to Western Australia in April 1889. He was five feet six inches in height (wearing boots).
He was recruited in Singapore to work as a cook and indoor servant under contract to Tom Cue, location unrecorded, for S$20 per month for two years (C). He worked as a cook on Yalbalgo Station, Gascoyne, in 1916 (B). He was recorded as a cook in the Carnarvon district from at least 1917 to 1928 (E).
