Biographical informationCoy Ming was born in about June 1880 in Kong Moon [Jiangmen], China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1896. He was five feet six and a half inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Guildford Road, Belmont, in 1916 and Bourke Street, Leederville, in 1917. He worked in Beaufort Street, Perth, in 1918 and in Charles Street, North Perth, in 1921 (B).
