Biographical informationCoon Hing was born in about 1872 in Shanghai, China (stated on 1905 CoD)(But, his 1914 CECT paperwork states that he was born in about 1868 in Canton). He migrated to Western Australia in 1894. He was about five feet and six inches in height.

He worked as a market gardener at Leederville (E).
