Biographical informationChung Pong (1) was born in May 1864 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in January 1897.

He shared the lease of a market garden in Bulwer Street, Perth, from at least 1902 to 1912 (E). He worked on a market garden in Charles Street, North Perth, in 1916.
