Biographical informationChung Hong (aka Leong Chun Hong) was born in October 1870 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1897. He was five feet seven inches in height.
He worked on Sue Wing's market garden, Bourke Street, Leederville, in 1912 and in Brisbane Street, Perth, in 1916 where he hawked vegetables as well as market gardened.
He moved to Hop Lee's market garden, Havelock Street, West Perth, in 1921.
He was recorded as a pork sausage maker in Perth in 1929.
