CHING BOOR

Description

Biographical informationChing Boor was born in April 1876 in Canton, China. He migrated to Australia in 1886 and moved to Western Australia in 1892. He was over five feet five inches in height. He may have been related to Ching You.

He worked as a tailor in Carnarvon Street, Broome, in 1916. He moved to Port Hedland in 1917. He had lad links with the Chinese community in Darwin (B).

He travelled overseas five times: January 1907 to July 1908; April 1910 to September 1911; January 1914 to November 1916; November 1918 to July 1920; and February 1926 to May 1928 (D).Other nameChing Boor (differentiated name)Date of birthApril 1876
