Biographical informationChin Sing was born in April 1868 in Canton, China. He migrated to Western Australia in 1884, or 1887, or 1890 (date given on paperwork varies). He was five feet three inches in height.

He worked as a tailor at Port Hedland (B). He bought a market garden at Port Hedland from Fong Kim for £60 in 1910.
